As a fitness professional and in my 10 years working with people just like you, I have identified 5 common opinions that your Average Joe Brain believes, but are not true. You don't have to continue walking around believing these lies, but instead, replace them with the GI Joe Mindset.
Belief #1
Average Joe Brain: It's not my fault, you keep on telling yourself. A lady once told me, I gained weight because I cook for my husband at night and I eat that food. I never heard a worst excuse. Another one told me, I had Macaroni and Cheese for lunch because that's what my kids wanted to eat. Excuses, excuses, excuses! Lack of personal responsibility is one of the major reasons why things may go wrong in life, business, health, family. You start blaming others for your poor choices and that leads you down a never-ending road of failure.
GI Joe Mindset: Even though there are things in life that are out of our control, they don't happen every day. And when they do, it is within our control as to how we react and what we do about it. Taking responsibility for the past and present is the only road to future success. Stop blaming others and take the right actions consistently until you reach your desired goal."
